Andrew uses his skill as a journalist to thoroughly present and investigate the raw food lifestyle, using medical studies for evidence and not just anecdotal story that so many raw food books used. This book is packed with good information and is not just about making money with the raw food movement (as so many of the other books appear). If you're wanting some good quality information, I would recommend this one and 80/10/10.Product details

Very small book with not much substance. The information provided could be found on the Internet. No scientific proof or basis for the assertions that are made.

Andrew presents a clear and documented case for the raw food lifestyle. A must read for anyone interested in simplefying and improving their life.
I liked this book but was disappointed that Andrew held back the salad dressings for a seperate book.
Contains lots of good information and Andrew has an interesting perspective on diet, weight loss, and eating patterns for optimal health. There is two reasons why I didn't give it 5 stars. 1.) The diet that he recommends is too extreme for most individuals to follow, it's unrealistic to expect a large portion of the population to eat such a restrictive eating pattern. 2.) Some of his health claims seem anecdotal and lack a certain level of scientific backing that I come to expect from Andrew (I've been watching his videos on Youtube for a while). I don't believe this is really his fault though, science in the field of diet/nutrition is seriously lacking due to the fact there isn't much money to be made from findings of research in this area so funding is scarce. I have a degree in nutrition and know this first hand. Still I highly recommend Andrew's book for anyone interested in diet, health, and optimal eating for longevity. Even if this book is just able to convince you to eat more fruits/vegetables like it did for me I would still consider that a win and worth the price of the book.
Andrew does a wonderful job of explaining the benefits of eating a high carbohydrate, low fat, raw vegan diet and challenges the reader in a way that is both intriguing and exciting! He backs up all of his findings with research and case studies, allowing the reader to come to their own conclusions.
Raw Food Weight Loss and Vitality Shedding... came well packaged. I love this book especially the nutritional information. This helps me greatly. I would use this vendor again.
